Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center director of rehabilitation, H.-Anh Long, M.D., was one of eight clinicians across the Providence South Division to be recognized with the 2023 Philanthropy Physician Champion Award. The award acknowledges select physicians for their commitment to philanthropy and for providing outstanding medical care.

Each Providence ministry nominated physicians from their respective organizations to be honored for their partnership through philanthropy. “We are thrilled to recognize Dr. Long,” says Kurt Hinrichsen, chief philanthropy officer. “She is not only an example of compassionate care but also an ambassador for philanthropy. Dr. Long’s deep-rooted connection to her patients and her understanding of the ripple effect of gratitude is a testament to the difference one individual can make in uplifting health care in our community.”
